Megan King, RN

Megan is the Clinical Education Specialist for Curavi Health, Inc. a company focused on delivering innovative solutions to enhance the quality of care for residents in skilled nursing facilities and in the broader post-acute care environment. Curavi Health is a portfolio company of UPMC Enterprises, and is being built on the latest in interdisciplinary clinical research in the field of improving senior care through telemedicine.

Previously, Megan was an Oncology nurse at St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. She also spent time as a Clinical Supervisor at Family Hospice and Palliative Care as well as Program Manager for Hospital-based Palliative Care out of UPMC.

Outside of Curavi, Megan has presented at the PA Organization of Nurse Leaders Conference and at La Roche College’s Alumni Lecture Series. She is also involved in the following organizations: Pennsylvania Society for Post-Acute and Long Term Care Medicine (PMDA), National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA), and the American Association Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM).
