Sally is a Telemedicine Trainer for Curavi Health, Inc. a company focused on delivering innovative solutions to enhance the quality of care for residents in skilled nursing facilities and in the broader post-acute care environment. Curavi Health is a portfolio company of UPMC Enterprises, and is being built on the latest in interdisciplinary clinical research in the field of improving senior care through telemedicine.
In Sally’s lengthy nursing career, she has worked in orthopedics – medical-surgical, nursing administration, home health, and case management. Most of her clinical experience is in critical care having worked in intensive, cardiac and neurocritical care units. She is an associate professor in didactic and clinical instruction at Community College of Beaver County, Monaca, PA for practical and associate nursing programs and adjunct professor in nursing in the RN-BSN online program at Chamberlain College of Nursing. She continues to work as a casual nursing supervisor at UPMC Cranberry Place.
Sally graduated from Jameson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, New Castle, PA with a diploma degree. She completed her BS in Nursing from Penn State University, Sharon, PA and MS in Nursing and Nursing Education from Waynesburg University, Waynesburg, PA. She received an undergraduate certificate in Nursing Informatics from Penn State University and is currently pursuing her doctorate in education online at Northcentral University, Phoenix, CA.
